Back from the grave
We just about killed this Hibiscus tree during the winter. We kept it in the kitchen near the window. It didn't look good at all. It now has dozens of flower buds covering it. They are opening about two every four days right now.
This is a beautiful picture. I went to Hawaii this year for three weeks and I fell in love with the Hibiscus flower. I took so many pictures of them while I was there.
I've always LOVED this flower. My friend Rossie lived in Venezuela for most of her life. She says that they boil the petals for a little bit and then run the water through their hair and its makes it shiny and healthy. I'm just SO horrible with taking care of plants. How did you bring this baby back? I know roses like garbage... egg shells and stuff. What did you do for this? Great Photo!
People always gave me plants to celebrate the arrival of my children. I always felt so bad, because with all the new parenting responsiblities there was never a hope of survival.

We gave it water and sunlight. It had bugs, so we sprayed for bugs.
I don't plan on washing my hair with it.
