I was out taking pictures today and taking a lot of back roads. I passed by this church. Thought I saw the sign wrong, so I turned around and drove by it again. Yeah, I read it right, so I backed up and checked the name of the church. Sounded like a real church. Here's the sign that had me confused in this back woods church. . .

Baptists, baby! What yellers. Oh wait.... maybe there's a conference going on with lots of different denominations and God knows Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, and the like can't be in a theological discussion without a little boxing, right?
OK. I'm a jerk. Sorry. And I love my church too. Just playing around. But that is a REALLY strange thing to see on a church sign. Yes. VERY strange.
This is hilarious!! ...And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth...by boxing with it.
The odd thing is... that's not the first time I've seen boxing at church. Boxing and church seem to go hand in hand like Bingo and church.
Never seen anything like it in my life. But I hope they use the round bell to begin service, and have nuns carry around signs signaling the minutes left until the end of the sermon.
