Since Wednesday I've heard about nothing except news about the extreme winter storm that was going to pound this area on Friday night and into Saturday. Well what a disappointment that turned out to be. It rained a bit on Friday. Then it sleeted. Then some freezing rain. In the mix was about ninety seconds of snow. Blah. All the rushing around to get bread, milk, and eggs for nothing.
The good news is that the ground was nice and icy. Not good for a snowman, but GREAT for sledding.
