The fall color is lasting longer than I had expected. A few weeks ago, when we traveled to NC I thought it was near peak color and that it would fade in a weeks time. I'm still seeing photos with plenty of color out there and the Greenville area of SC has magnificent color to see as of two days ago. I think last year, by the time we got to peak color there were a few storms that blew through and knocked the color to the ground. The photo in this post was from downtown Asheville last weekend. There's still plenty of time to get out and enjoy the world before it turns grey for the winter!
