I was able to watch Cari scolding Meredith in the kitchen yesterday and when she had finished she told Meredith to head to her room. As my daughter rounded the corner I heard some laughing and I quickly looked at Cari for a reaction.
Cari had also heard the laughing and was looking back at me. I said, "Yeah, I'm not sure you really had the impact you were going for".
You may not have disciplined your eight year old correctly when she walks out of the room laughing quietly.
