Cari went shopping today, so the kids and I spent the day together.
At the park, the sprinklers were on. The water was calling to us.

Check out the boy running in the water behind her.

This last picture is really proof of how good our day was. I dare you to try and get a picture of my kids hugging any other day.

I should point out that the bees are still happily living at the bottom of my driveway tonight. A fact that Cari is less than thrilled about.

Oh my goodness, I think you and my husband were separated at birth. We had a pigeon problem that was driving me crazy but didn't really bother him that much. BTW, I have a friend who says that when I return home and the dad and kids are all accounted for, it was a good day. Additionally, she says that if she is watching them and only one of my kids is missing, it's still a good day. She doesn't babysit as much for me anymore.
cute pics!!
Will you be doing your manly duty and obliterating the bees at all?
Looks like a great day. Any day that ends with the children locking arms, and they are not in mortal combat, is a great one.
